Golden State Warriors small forward Stephen Jackson is looking to be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers or any of the NBA's three teams in the state of Texas. Jackson says he wants to go to a team who has a shot at the postseason, a feat the Warriors have not accomplished about 15 years.

"At this point, I'm 31 years old. I have four or five years left," Jackson said. "I want to be in a situation where I can continually be in the playoffs and get another ring. So that's where my mind is at now."

Stephen Jackson attended an event along with teammate Al Harrington as Jackson told the crowd that he is looking to leave Golden State.

"It's not about a decision I made," he told Dime Magazine. "It's just things are in the air right now. I really can't get too much into it right now."

Jackson has averaged about 15 points with the New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks, and Indiana Pacers in his nine-year career. He hopes to return to the Spurs, or move with the Mavericks or Rockets. Jackson had a great year last year, having a career high averaging about 21 points and signing a three-year $28M extension last year.

Jackson says he just looking for a team to win a championship with. Let's hope he can find a team soon.
