ESPN.com Insider is reporting that free agent running back Edgerrin James is receiving interest from the Seattle Seahawks. After James was released by the Arizona Cardinals, the Seahawks have been considering him for a while. If James does go to the Seahawks, it means that T.J. Duckett's days could come to a close with the team. And if Edge is named the starter, which he probably will be, it would mean that Julius Jones would be a fantasy plummet, as ESPN explains.

In other news, Adam Schefter was reporting that the Minnesota Vikings could start Tarvaris Jackson over Brett Favre. If that were true, Favre would be one of the most expensive backups in the NFL. Many journalists with Twitter accounts have been reporting the same messages. But the talks haven't been over with T-Jack being traded. We here at FootBasket also reported this, and talks are heating up more and more as the days go by.

Thing have been getting crazy lately, but hey, this is what sports is about too.
