According to New York Mets' manager Terry Collins, the team plans to activate star Jose Reyes for Game Two of the double-header with the Florida Marlins.
Reyes was supposed to be back on Sunday, but plans were delayed after Hurricane Irene hit the east coast. Since then, he has been rehabbing from injury and has also played rehab games with the Mets' Double-A affiliate in Birmingham.

The last time Reyes was in an MLB game was on August 7. A strained left hamstring has since delayed him.

To prevent this injury from happening, Collins has suggested to make Reyes heal the whole rest of the season instead of just seeing him playing 100 games and injured. He'd rather see him play around 150 games and fully healthy, says the Associated Press.
