According to the Associated Press, the NBA and the players' union will meet this Wednesday about the ongoing lockout occurring so far in the league. The meeting reportedly will be small, with only a few representatives from each side.

Earlier this week, the two sides planned to meet. This will be their second time meeting since July 1, the date when the lockout began.

"If Labor Day comes and goes without us huddled in ready to kiss off our Labor Day weekend to make this deal, then we may be headed to a bad place," commissioner David Stern said.

According to the source, David Stern and Adam Silver are expected to be there representing the league with the union being represented by Billy Hunter and Derek Fisher.

Let's hope this lockout ends fast.
