As a Colts fan, you can now have a sigh of relief.
Quarterback Peyton Manning has now been cleared off the PUP list and can now practice, according to the Associated Press. He was activated today.

Manning has been gone after a neck surgery and question rose that maybe Manning won't play in the season-opener, or even longer than that; which led to the signing of Kerry Collins.

But it appears the Colts may not need to worry. I know I didn't. I have been saying this for the past week or so and I'll still go with it: Manning WILL be ready for Week One. He is the toughest player I know.

Manning will practice, but will be limited. But Indianapolis will definitely need him, especially against the Houston Texans.

"I don't know what HIPAA stands for, but I believe in it and I practice it," Manning joked, referring to the federal law protecting medical privacy. "So, uh, I'll leave it at that."

No one really knows what Manning will do during his workouts, but sources have said Manning has been working out for quite some time.

"He's been throwing," coach Jim Caldwell said. "It's going to be a bigger amount, and I don't think it needs a whole lot of explanation. The statement speaks for itself."

I think Manning will be back.

This is just another sign that Manning will definitely be ready for Week One.
