Thon Maker is not your average 14-year-old basketball player. The young eighth grader has been drawing a lot of attention lately from scouts with his superb basketball skills. Adding to it, the kid is seven-feet tall and is of Australian and Sudanese descent.
He started becoming popular during the John Lucas International Middle School combine, showing off his skills. Basically, he has the talent of top high school senior or even college player. Many coaches are going to want him in a couple years, as he graduates in 2016.
Maker has drawn comparisons lately to of someone like Kevin Durant, and even Chris Webber.
He is definitely something to watch. Keep a lookout on Thon Maker in the future; this kid has what it takes and will be exciting to watch.
