After being released by the New York Giants, running back Brandon Jacobs has now signed to a one-year agreement with the San Francisco 49ers.

Jacobs helped New York this past season in the playoffs to help New York beat San Fran in the NFC Championship and to eventually win the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. The 30-year-old plans to make some great impact with his new team, as he teams up with Frank Gore.

Jacobs will also join former teammate, Mario Manningham.

He had 571 rushing yards and seven touchdowns last year.
