The Cleveland Browns are ready to make their pick at No. 4 to get Alabama running back, Trent Richardson.

However, rumors are now starting to come up that the New York Jets might steal Richardson from them come Thursday when the draft starts.

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, the Jets have verified contact info of Richardson just in case they draft him.

With this, the most likely decision is that they will trade up for the No. 3 pick that the Minnesota Vikings currently hold to get the running back. The Vikings have been rumored to have trade down, as Matt Kalil can easily fall out of the top ten if Minnesota doesn't select him at No. 3.

But what would it mean for Cleveland now if they can't land their prized prospect? James Hensley of ESPN says that the Browns would most likely look at it wide receiver Justin Blackmon or Kalil. There is also another rumor that they could be eying cornerback Morris Claiborne as well.

If they do in fact select Claiborne, which looks like the likely decision, they would improve their secondary significantly. He would fit well teaming up with Joe Haden.

Blackmon also seems like a good option, as Cleveland does need some offensive weapons to help out quarterback Colt McCoy.

Looks we'll see what happens on Thursday. It would be huge if the Jets can actually pull this one off.
