Even at 36 years old, Tim Duncan still gets the job done year after year. Duncan is coming off another stellar season, posting averages of 15 points and nine rebounds per game as the San Antonio Spurs look to go after another championship this year.

It's amazing to see Duncan play at this high of a level still despite the mileage in his career. However, the big reason of Duncan's success has led to him dieting during the off-season.

According to Duncan's former teammate Bruce Bowen, he dropped 20 pounds that summer dieting, which has helped him stay strong throughout the season.

"That's easy on his knees and easy on his body and he took care of his body during the lockout," Bowen would later say on SportsCenter. "He understood it would end at some point, but he took care of himself."

Duncan struggled during last year's playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies, as he showed his age. However, dieting has helped him play like he is at a younger age. And it shows, as he is currently averaging 17 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks per game in this year's post-season.

San Antonio currently leads the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, 1-0.
