The Houston Astros made a surprising move in this year's MLB Draft, selecting shortstop Carlos Correa as the No. 1 overall pick.

Correa played at the Puerto Rican Baseball Academy.

The 6-4, 190-pound 17-year-old has been compared to Alex Rodriguez and could be the guy Houston needs.

"Carlos has a chance to be a star," said Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow. "Anybody who saw him recognizes that."

This will definitely help their farm system, which was ranked 27th by ESPN.

"If things fall our way, we could have one of the best drafts in the history of the organization," Luhnow said.

What do you think of the pick?
