The Miami Heat need some extra help this off-season if they are unable to win it all this year in the NBA Playoffs. They already have themselves in a hole already, as they currently trail the Boston Celtics 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Heat could definitely use a veteran and/or starting-caliber point guard on their team. Someone of their interest has been Steve Nash.

It is now also believed that the Heat can also go after Andre Miller as well, who is coming off as a backup to Ty Lawson with the Denver Nuggets this season.

Tweets Fox Sports Florida's Chris Tomasson:

Miller would also be willing to backup Mario Chalmers if he has to. He recently said last month that if were to be a backup, it would be a championship-caliber team.

Miller isn't getting any younger. The Heat could use some improvement to a win a championship, and as for Miller -- he wants to win his first one so he can retire knowing he was a champion.

We'll see what happens, but it all depends on what happens to Miami this season.
