Many people are going back and forth regarding whether or not Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be in uniform for the September 9 season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

NFL.com is reporting that head coach Leslie Frazier is hinting at Peterson being a game time decision. Frazier is being slightly coy when pressed for information on the subject.

“We’ve got a lot of things we want to get done with him this week, and I doubt that we would know without getting him through an entire week if we thought he was ready to play in a football game," Frazier said. "We need to take him through some more things this week.”

Peterson was hit for the first time this past week and is highly motivated to start the season-opener. The   Vikings' brass would like to bring A.P. back slowly, but you get the sense that he won’t allow them to.
