The Seattle Seahawks have made it official for a while now that they are moving on without quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, as they look to either trade him or cut him.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks are working on a trade that would send Jackson to the Buffao Bills. The deal hasn't been official yet, but they have been working on it.

Pro Football Talk reports that the sticking point may be Jackson's salary, in which he is due $4 million in base-salary this season. However, PFT says the deal will likely be finalized soon. The Seahawks will likely receive mid-to-late round draft pick for 2013 in return.

With that in mind, Buffalo will have to make a decision on which quarterback to keep now that T-Jax is in. Will it be Vince Young or Tyler Thigpen. Though Young may be more athletic, his pre-season hasn't been any good at all with Thipgen outperforming him in each game.

It's likely the Young is the one to be cut, but don't be surprised if Chan Gailey takes on the gamble of keeping him. There are also chances of both players being cut as well, with Jackson as the designated No. 2 guy.

Jackson wasn't bad when starting for Seattle last season, but injuries got to him. And with Seattle paying Matt Flynn the cash and rookie Russell Wilson being remarkable, Jackson had to be the odd man out.

However, he does have a chance to redeem himself in Buffalo. If Ryan Fitzpatrick struggles, Jackson can step in and make a change. Fitzpatrick hasn't been all that solid in the pre-season, so it doesn't surprise many on why trading for Jackson was the thing to do.

Honestly, watch out for Jackson. I think he'll eventually end up starting if Fitzpatrick's struggles continue.
