New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski started off the 2012 NFL regular season with a bang when he scored a quick touchdown from a pass by quarterback Tom Brady to give the Pats a 21-3 lead over the Tennessee Titans in the second quarter on Sunday.

Gronkowski tried capitalizing off the touchdown by doing his famous spike celebration. However, this time, Gronkowski failed big time on the play when he missed completely on the spike.

As he went downwards towards the spike, the football slipped right out of his hands. He would then end up celebrating with his teammates afterwards.
