Derick E. Hingle-US PRESSWIRE
Washington Redskins star rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is a smart, business-savy guy.

Before heading out in Sunday's season-opening Week 1 match-up against the New Orleans Saints, Griffin was seen wearing a long-sleeve Redskins shirt during the pre-game with "Heart" written randomly down the side of his chest.

With the NFL now endorsed by Nike and Griffin having an endorsement deal with adidas, a lot of things come into play, such as the picture seen.

As UniWatch points out, Griffin wants to hide everything as Nike as possible that he has control of to show how much of an adidas man he is. No one has gone to the heights that RGIII has done.

It was confirmed that the "Heart" written was to cover up the swoosh. Smart stuff here by Griffin, showing how loyal he truly is to his sponsor.
