Jay Cutler is under duress again.

The Chicago Bears starting quarterback threw four interceptions against the Green Bay Packers Thursday night and was caught on tape berating and embarrassing one of his linemen.

Cutler has a message via the Sun Times for those who say he was out of line. Cutler wants you to know he cares.

“I care about this,’’ Cutler said afterward. “This isn’t just a hobby. I’m not doing this for my health. I’m trying to win football games. I’m trying to get first downs. When we’re not doing the little things, when we’re not doing things the right way consistently, I’m going to say something. If they want a quarterback that doesn’t care, they can go get somebody else.’’

Cutler was talking to you, Bears brass, the media, and anyone else who questions his actions from last night. I’m not sure Cutler owes his lineman an apology for being so abrasive.

He does, in my opinion, owe every fantasy football owner who played him and sat through that performance one, too.
