New York Knicks fans have seen the worst for the past decade, especially during the Isiah Thomas era.

Should they panic? Maybe.

According to the New York Post, it looks as if Thomas could make a return to the Knicks franchise as the Hall-of-Fame point guard and owner James Dolan had a meeting Friday morning.

A person familiar with the situation states that him and Dolan had a business meeting in a hotel in Midtown. Both were wearing business suits as they talked in a corner of the lobby.

For a while now, Thomas has been wanting to return to New York since being fired as head coach of FIU. It seems likely a return for Thomas is in place after MSG sports president Scott O'Neil resigned, which seems like a coincidence since he told Dolan that re-hiring Thomas wouldn't be a good idea.

It all seems set in place. The man who didn't want him hired is gone. Dolan seems interested. Then again, it could just be a casual meeting.

However, don't rule out a Thomas-reunion.
