NFL Rumors: Could Chad Johnson Be Hinting That He's Going to the Eagles?

I know what your thinking. Is Chad Johnson just on Twitter-trolling?

You probably think I’m trolling for writing this. It’s still a very intriguing tweet considering what's going on in Philadelphia with the receiving core.

After tweeting Monday that he was taking a year off to work on himself, Johnson sent out a tweet early Tuesday morning suggesting that he was on his way to Philadelphia for some sort of business.

5 hours past my bed time... if I miss this flight to Philly in the morning it'd definitely be a pisstified moment...

Could it be nothing? Possibly. Chad could be coming to Philly to take in the sites. He also could be coming in for a tryout for the Philadelphia Eagles, who's receiving core has been banged up with injuries lately.

Jeremy Maclin has an ailing hip. Riley Cooper isn’t expected back anytime sooner. The Eagles are a DeSean Jackson hamstring pull away from being in serious trouble at the receiver position.

Again, Chad’s visit to Philly could be nothing. Either way, we’ll keep you posted.
