Tony Romo will be a TV analyst with CBS next season, and although a deal has yet to be signed, both sides have reached a verbal agreement.

The Cowboys QB is expected to replace Phil Simms as the network's top game analyst, where he will be paired with Jim Nantz. CBS reportedly outbid Fox Sports for Romo’s services, Sports Business Daily is reporting.

There is some question as to whether Romo will be prepared to handle double duty in the weeks when CBS has Thursday night games, as he’s reportedly not comfortable calling both as of yet.
