Luis Cruz was excellent today as he and Garrett Jones combined for six of the nine hits made by Indy. Billy Gentry/Indy Indians.com

The Indians rolled against Charlotte, once again. After a 10-2 stomp yesterday, they destroyed Charlotte again, 7-3. Luis Cruz and Garrett Jones both combined six-of-eight and made six-of-the-nine hits made by Indy. They also were both combined for three runs and three RBIs.

The Tribe were, once again, a powerhouse in the second inning when Garrett Jones made a home run to start it. The Knights answered back, however, by two runs and were taking the lead, 2-1.

But the Indians didn't give up, they got better. They scored two runs of their own in the fourth inning to retake the lead. Adam Melhuse helped out with the first run, his first in an Indians' uniform. Steve Pearce made a walk to make his on-base streak expand toward 16 games.

16!

The Indians were spectacular today and will keep on rolling. They will end their four-game series against Charlotte today at 2:15. Right-hander, Daniel McCutchen looks to start for Indy while Justin Cassel, another right-hander, looks to start for Charlotte.

Let's see what the Tribe will do!
