Mason is the top receiver for the Baltimore Ravens. He had really soft hands and had an ability, which was pretty good, of getting yards after the catch.
Mason was taking by the Tennessee Oilers in the fourth round, 98th overall, in the 1997 NFL Draft.
Mason's first playoff appearence with the team was two years after he was drafted, the year of 1999.
Mason was certainly a fantasy steal, with great receptions and yards per-game.
Touchdowns might have been a bit of a concern, but he still managed to keep the fans off their seats whenever he caught the ball.
Mason signed with the Ravens in 2005 out of free agency. That's when his career really picked up.
Mason looks like a Hall-of-Fame contender by reaching a famous milestone of over 700 receptions and 10,000 yards, but some believe that he may fall short of that honor.
In fact, in 20 years, probably only true NFL fans will remember who he is and what he did.
I know I will.
Mason has done so much for all Raven and Titan fans and hopefully he can still continue his career, like coach John Harbaugh wants him to.
