Floyd Mayweather Jr. Won $37K Bet on Bulls

Boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is known for doing some crazy stuff. This is just another one of those crazy things, as the critically-acclaimed best pound-for-pound puncher bet over $37,000 on the Chicago Bulls last night in their game versus the Atlanta Hawks.

The exact amount Mayweather Jr. won was $37,272.75.

“My lil brother Derrick Rose will always get you Paid,” Mayweather Jr. wrote on his Twitter.

The Bulls ended up destroying the Hawks. Mayweather Jr. bet that the Hawks couldn’t outscore the Bulls by six points or more in the second half. He had Chicago winning by 5.5 points.

The Bulls easily won, and were destroying, as they took an easy 72-43 halftime lead.

“We can’t really discuss it,” M Resort sportsbook supervisor Jorgen Johnson said in a phone conversation. “It’s a privacy issue. He does like to put his tickets on Twitter.”

Good bet made by Mayweather Jr. Looks like he has faith in my man, Derrick Rose. This adds more to my argument that Rose should win MVP this year.
