Thanks to Brandon Knight, Jared Sullinger's college career was over. Knight would make a key shot with five seconds left for the Kentucky Wildcats to knock off Sullinger's Ohio State Buckeyes, 62-60, to advance into the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.

Sullinger is projected to be a top-three pick. But it looks like him going to the NBA may not be an option at the moment, as the power forward announced that he would like to stay at Ohio State and try to win a championship for them.

"I'm going to be an Ohio State Buckeye next year," he said. "This isn't why I came here, to come in here and see my seniors in here crying. I came here to win a national championship."

But can Sullinger really be true to his word? Many other top college players have said things like this before, but later on change their mind and decide go to the NBA. Sullinger had 21 points and 16 rebounds versus Kentucky. He's been averaging 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. Does he really want to stay in college and pass up on a million dollars and really make a career for himself?

"I'm a man of my word," Sullinger said. "I don't change my word and no one changes it for me. This is what I want."

Many still wouldn't believe Sullinger. But, however, according to head coach Thad Matta, Sullinger has been telling him this all season long.

"Oh he's been telling me that all along," Matta said. "And I believe it. He told me, draw me up a contract, whatever you need to do. I believe him when he says it."

Sullinger is recently coming off of Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors, too. If I were Sullinger, I definitely would not want to stay at Ohio State. What if you lose next year? Would you stay still? If you do, don't bet on winning still. I mean, you're just wasting time until you hit the NBA.

What you do in the NBA extremely matters. You might as well go. Nobody will think differently if you change your mind now. Head to the NBA and do your thang.

Staying at college? Not such a good idea.
