The last time the Chicago Bulls faced the Toronto Raptors, they lost and were humiliated after the game when the team celebrated right in front of them. Derrick Rose had to make sure this did not happen again. And he did.

Rose led Chicago, having a huge night with 36 points and ten assists as he powered the Bulls to a 113-106 defeat over Toronto. This was Rose's third 30-point game in his last five games. He is leading leading himself closer to unanimous votes in the MVP contest and leading the Bulls closer to securing a top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Rose did not want to be embarrassed by Toronto again, especially after such of their celebration in their defeat over them.

"When you see people celebrating when they normally don't do that if you watch other games after they win, it kind of gets to you, especially being the person that I am," he said. "I just try to feed off of anything, where by nature I'm just a quiet guy trying to get along with a lot of people."

Michael Jordan and LeBron James have already had their share of saying Rose deserves the MVP award. Jerryd Bayless is now one of the newest players to say so as well. Bayless really couldn't even guard Rose tonight, which led to such a big statistical game for him.

"That's what an MVP is I guess," Bayless said. "I think he should be it. I can't speak highly enough about him."

With the victory, the Bulls improve to 56-20, one game behind for the top seed in the NBA behind the San Antonio Spurs, who hold a 57-19 record. With this record, Tom Thibodeau broke a team record of most wins in a season by first-year coach with the Bulls. Guess which coach he broke the record from? Why, no other than Phil Jackson.

Carlos Boozer helped out with 18 points and ten rebounds. Luol Deng had 17 points and Taj Gibson had 15. Kyle Korver stepped it up big towards the end of the game, having ten points.

A great game by the Bulls. Keep doing what you do!
