Peyton Manning collected his $3 million roster bonus today, following the Indianapolis Colts' 34-7 beatdown from the Houston Texans.

There is no timetable on Manning's return, but no matter what happens this season, Manning will get his money. He will receive $26 million by the time the season is over.

Manning just had his third neck surgery, with the rumors coming that he could be out for the season. With the surgery he had, many experts have said that the minimum time Manning will come back is in about two-to-three months!

But whenever Manning returns, we all know he will still be in a Colts' uniform.

"Can't predict anything, particularly true with injuries," Colts' Bill Polian said on CBS, "in terms of Peyton Manning playing football, he's going to play for the Colts, that's for sure."

Manning missed his first game of his career today, ending a 227-game streak (including playoffs) that started when he was drafted by the Colts in 1998.

As a Colts fan, I just hope Manning returns.

Judging from what I saw in today's game, being without Manning really makes a difference on the whole squad.
