When the 2011 BCS rankings are released in the coming weeks there are sure to be some teams boosted by reputation rather than on-field performance.

One-loss teams like Oregon and Arkansas currently find themselves above undefeated programs like Michigan and Georgia Tech because of their conference affiliation and largely because of what they have done in the past.

It's not guaranteed, but it's likely the BCS standings will reflect the current AP Top 25 rankings, meaning there will be several overrated teams ranked in the top 10.

Here are three teams sure to be overrated in the season's first BCS rankings:

No. 9 Oregon Ducks (4-1)

The Ducks have a difficult test this week as they host 5-1 Arizona State. Oregon is the favorite in this one and should be the favorite in every matchup on the rest of their schedule outside of the Stanford game on Nov. 12.

The Ducks offense has and will continue to be dominant, but the nation's 45th-ranked scoring defense was exposed against LSU in the opener and will likely continue to be downplayed as the Ducks find themselves in the top 10 of the BCS rankings despite having underperformed thus far in 2011.

No. 10 Arkansas Razorbacks (5-1)

Unfortunately for college football fans outside the state of Arkansas, the Razorbacks win over Auburn last Saturday night is sure to have them overrated in the first BCS standings.

Before their 24-point blowout of the defending national champions, the Razorbacks had allowed far too many points by their opponents.

Arkansas allowed 28, 38 and 38 points to Troy, Alabama and Texas A&M respectively, and currently boast the nation's 36th-ranked scoring defense.

No. 11 Michigan Wolverines (6-0)

Michigan is ranked No. 11 in the nation largely because of its perfect record, but just how much will the Wolverines reputation play into their position in the season's first BCS standings.

Michigan has played a rather easy schedule this season, and nearly lost at home to Notre Dame in Week 2, a potential loss that would have them eliminated them from any BCS consideration given their talent.

The Wolverines will face some much stiffer tests going forward, but a win over Michigan State will set the hype train in motion.
