Bill Parcells was in talk with the New Orleans Saints for the past week on coaching the team while Sean Payton serves his one-year suspension. However, Parcells will now stay retired.

"I've been out quite a while now. I have another life. I'm very happy with that," Parcells told ESPN's Mike Tirico on "SportsCenter."

Parcells hasn't coached since 2006, when he was with the Dallas Cowboys. Parcells is a future Hall-of-Famer for his amazing coaching, where he also led some other teams like the Giants, Bills, Patriots, and Jets.

However, Parcells they really didn't speak too much of the job. Parcells considered it really because of Payton, since he had him on his coaching staff back in Dallas.

"I do have a very high regard for the coach of the Saints, Sean Payton," he said. "I like him very much personally ... my initial thoughts were about him."

With Parcells staying retired, New Orleans is still in the search for a coach. We'll see what happens.
