You really wouldn't expect the Philadelphia Eagles to be interested in a quarterback in the NFL Draft when they have Michael Vick on board.

However, Peter King reports that the Eagles are interested in Texas A&M quarterback, Ryan Tannehill. King says that a group of Eagles brass will attend Tannehill's private workout today to see him practice. Tannehill doesn't even know why Philly is interested.

"I don't really know why," Tannehill told King. "I'll just get ready to throw for them and do my best."

I can see why, however. Vick will be 32 years old and struggled through injuries last season, which led to a very disappointing season for Philadelphia. They also brought in Vince Young to help out, but wasn't so great either that season.

They could use Tannehill for the future, but it will be tough as the Miami Dolphins are expected to draft him eighth overall in the NFL Draft this month.
