Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger is starting to get annoyed by Miami Heat's LeBron James throwing "blatant" elbows at him. Both Granger and James have had altercations in back-to-back games.

It's over the same issue: Granger thinking James throws an elbow at him.

"I'm not going to back down from anybody and he's not going to back down from anybody. And when you get that, you'll get some altercations," Granger said about the matter.

"I'm no monster. This ain't no horror movie," James said to ESPN's Michael Wallace."I'm not trying to scare nobody. I'm trying to play basketball. He's got to hype himself up to say he's not scared of me. have I ever been intimidated by anybody in the league? I don't think so. I go out and play my game and let my game do the talking."

One surprising stat that I found in the series is that Granger has more fouls than made shots so far.

Granger is getting more aggressive every game on James. Could Granger snap if he throws another elbow at him? Who knows, but it sure looks like this heated battle could boil over as soon as Sunday.

The two altercations happened once in each city.

The first incident occurred when Granger fouled LeBron and knocked off his headband. James then responded by throwing a mini elbow to which Granger took offense to.

On Thursday in Indiana, Granger pulled on the back of LeBron's jersey, which he responded by throwing another small elbow. Granger also took offense to it and got in his face.

This series has been full of hard fouls and technicals. It's been an intense series led by Indiana at this point, 2-1. We'll see if there is more altercations between Granger and James or any other members of the Pacers and Heat.

It sure looks by how the series has played out so far, you can expect some altercations in Game 4 on Sunday.
