Mike Krzyzewski said on Monday that he thinks the 2012 London Olympics will probably be his last. Coach K was brought in before the 2008 Olympics to help out the team which had been struggling ever since the "Dream Team" in 1992.

Krzyzewski brought together and gelled a great nucleus of talent. He led the 2008 team to the gold medal and looks to do the same before bowing out after the 2012 Olympics.

This will be a huge blow to the USA basketball team for 2016 and beyond. The last thing the USA basketball team needs at this point is to lose stability.

Krzyzewski says coaching the U.S. team has been “the ultimate honor.” He will still be involved after the steps from coaching, but without the mind of Krzyzewski on the sidelines full time it will be a big hole on the team.

Now, once the Olympics are over, who will take over for Krzyzewski?

We will find out soon enough, but without Coach K on staff after 2012, it doesn't seem like USA Basketball team will be the same again.
