It seemed like a clear option now for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they'll most likely go forward with Harrison Barnes at the fourth pick for the NBA Draft.

Not so fast.

According to Bob Finnan of the News-Herald, the Cavaliers could be willing to take the risk on UConn center Andre Drummond.

The Cavs appear to be considering Connecticut center Andre Drummond with their fourth overall selection, despite the fact that he could be the riskiest pick in the entire draft. ...Conventional wisdom says the Cavs will opt for one of the high-profile wings with the fourth pick, such as North Carolina small forward Harrison Barnes, Kentucky small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal.

Drummond would be a solid pick for the Cavs if he turns out to become one of the top players. He would instantly make Cleveland title-contenders, especially being paired alongside Tristan Thompson in the frontcourt and with Anderson Varejao coming off the bench. Then, of course, Kyrie Irving gets more weapons for himself.

However, it is still a risky pick. Cleveland looks good to go if they decide to go forward with Thompson and Varejao in the frontcourt. The two big needs they need to fill are the wings, and that is why I think they'll go forth with Barnes instead.

We just had our latest mock draft posted and we have Cleveland taking Barnes at the fourth pick along with Fab Melo at the 24th pick. With that, it seems like a solid plan going forward for Cleveland.

Drummond would be a good pick, but the safer option in my opinion would just have to be Barnes.
