With spring training coming to a close, the opening day for MLB teams is right around the corner—if it’s not already in full swing for the 2023 season.

Fans will start firing up their grills for tailgating, wandering around the ballpark, and cheering on their favorite players.

While going to your home team’s stadium is a unique experience in itself, there are several MLB stadiums for the best fan experiences you ought to consider.

If you’re near one of the following ballparks, why not see what they have to offer and enjoy a new adventure?

San Francisco Giants: Oracle Park

Nobody said baseball games were only for adults. Kids also love to experience the atmosphere at the ballpark. This is precisely what Oracle Park, home to the San Francisco Giants, offers to their fans.

The stadium and surrounding area are family-friendly and perfect for fans of all ages.

This urban ballpark offers an old-time feel with all the amenities of a modern stadium, including luxury seating, concierge services, specialty food and beverage stands, and a Coca-Cola fan lot.

Fun Fact

Gotham Club is a members-only club located in the out-of-town scoreboard within Oracle Park and features a bowling alley. The only bowling alley to ever be in an MLB stadium!

Pittsburgh Pirates: PNC Park

PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates, has long been among the best MLB stadiums for fan experiences. This acclaim is a result of its proximity to the city, yet it’s also in the perfect location for families and adult groups.

Take advantage of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline while enjoying the views of the Allegheny River. This ballpark might be smaller than other stadiums, but the intimate setting still packs a ton of entertainment for fans, such as casual dining, sports bars, and retail areas.

Fun Fact

PNC Park was the first MLB ballpark to feature a two-deck design in the United States!

Baltimore Orioles: Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Oriole Park at Camden Yards has a very unique name. The team favored the name Oriole Park while the former Governor wanted to pay tribute to the former rail terminal at the ballpark’s site, called Camden Yards.

The home stadium of the Baltimore Orioles has some of the best BBQ foods, and it’s minutes from the famous Inner Harbor.

From dancing to “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” during the seventh inning to cheering on the hotdog race, this baseball stadium has all the right vibes for a great time.

It might be tricky to find parking at this natural grass ballpark, but the overall fan experience makes up for this.

Fun Fact

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is just two blocks away from the birthplace of the legendary baseball player Babe Ruth. Ruth played in the minor league for the Orioles until hitting it big in the major league with the Boston Red Sox.
