The 2012 Playoffs continue with Day twenty eight being already behind us. There was one exciting  game played with Miami playing against the Celtics in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals. In it, the Heat managed to get the win.

Some players marked this playoff day with outstanding performances above the expectation. Who ranks on the top? Without any further ado, let's start.




3. Dwyane Wade

Superstar two guard Dwyane Wade, who's been playing below his usual standards in this year's postseason, found his form against the Celtics. He was definitely one of the biggest contributors in Miami's opening win versus their opponents.

Dwyane was aggressive throughout the entire game and absolutely brilliant as well. He attacked the defense quite well, got to stripe, was efficient in his scoring, provided the spark defensively etc. In other words, he was all over the court and the Heat surely needed that excellence of his.

From a statistical point of view, he had a great game. Wade scored 22 points, dished out seven assists, had three rebounds, blocked two shots, recorded a steal, committed four turnovers, shot 8-13 from the field, 0-1 from three point land and 6-6 from the charity in 38 minutes of action.



2.Kevin Garnett

His team lost, actually was blown out in Game One of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals. Nonetheless, the legendary power forward Kevin Garnett played above the expectations. He tried to will his team to the win, but eventually they fell to the Heat.

Kevin, as usually, provided the great spark, energy and, aggressiveness on both sides of the court. With his opponents' star at the power forward position out in Bosh, he took advantage of that weakness and carried his Celtics offensively. He was excellent on the glass and defensively too.

KG poured in 23 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, dished out two assists, recorded a steal, blocked one shot, committed a turnover, shot 9-16 from the field and 5-6 from the stripe in 30 minutes of action. Stat wise, it's a brilliant performance from the Big Ticket!



1. LeBron James

The No.1 player on the list, who played way above the expectation, was non other than the league's MVP LeBron James. He was out of the ordinary and on his game against the Celtics. He was arguably the main reason why Miami won the opening game of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals.

LeBron was aggressive and focused throughout the entire game. He was brilliant offensively, as he attacked the defense and scored in bunches. He was excellent on the glass and was terrific defensively too. In short words, he was amazing on both sides of the court for his Heat.

James scored 32 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, dished out two assists, blocked three shots, recorded a steal, committed three turnovers, shot 13-22 from the field, 0-3 from distance and 6-9 from the charity in 43 minutes of action. From a statistical point of view, this was amazing performance by him!
