Warren Sapp is known to make some bold statements to the media.

The former NFL defensive tackle appeared on NFL Total Access on NFL Network, making the bold statement that the Cleveland Browns will be the next team in line to win their first Super Bowl.

He says:

“They have a quarterback now, they have a running back- in (Trent) Richardson and they have (Brandon) Weeden–this is what you need to jump start your franchise. There’s no more fumbling on the one-yard line, there’s no more ‘Drive’ for you to cry over. It’s the Cleveland Browns, they’ll be next.”

Although it is possible, I don't think they're ready yet. Their receiving corps is still pretty poor. I'd rather go with what the other NFL Network analysts said with the Carolina Panthers or Detroit Lions. With Cam Newton leading the way, they have a good chance. Also, the Lions with Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson.

What do you think of Sapp's comments?
