Washington Wizards guard Jordan Crawford decided to show off kicks, showing how "cool" they really are. For some reason, Crawford decided to put a bunch of pairs of his KD IV's in a fridge.

Honestly, who knows why he did this, but SB Nation had some nice theories:
  1. This is actually a metaphor of sorts. Sneakerheads who are trying to save a pair of shoes to wear much later down the line say they're "putting them on ice." Maybe Crawford was taking this phrase very, very literally.
  2. As weird as it may seem, wearing shoes that have been in the fridge for a while might actually feel pretty good. I've never done it, but I can't knock it until I try it.
  3. It was a prank by one of his friends.
  4. The shoes were actually worn recently, and this was a way to get rid of the odor. People do this often with clothes, but I'm not sure it's that common with footwear.
Let's just hope his shoes don't rot.
