Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis has never been afraid to speak his mind, especially about the NFL itself.

With what the league has been doing with the game to make it safer, Lewis thinks they have done enough and are not changing too much of how the game is being played. As he tells Bob Glauber of Newsday, they should simply just leave the game of football alone.

“I think the safest thing to do is leave the game alone,” Lewis said. “The game will take care of itself. It always has. Should we be aware of these things? Absolutely. But when you adjust so many [rules], sometimes it makes it worse.”

Lewis makes a solid point and is one of the most respectable players in the NFL. A lot of people hear out on his word. Agreeing with Ray on this one, the league is doing just too much now.

Might as well leave it as it is now.
