Derick E. Hingle-US PRESSWIRE
Wide receiver Pierre Garcon may be unlikely to play Sunday for the Washington Redskins as they face the St. Louis Rams in Week 2 due to a foot injury.

Garcon excelled last week, helping Robert Griffin III score his first touchdown of his NFL career, an 88-yard reception.

Garcon finished the game with four catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in a victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Garcon says he will he wants to run and test himself before he decides to play or not, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Head coach Mike Shanahan says if Garcon "can go live with the pain, and he feels like he can go full speed, then you let him go."

If Garcon doesn't play, look for Aldrick Robinson to replace him.
