The Golden State Warriors are not only debuting new alternate jerseys, they will make some history by doing so.  The Warriors will become the first team in the modern NBA era not to play in a tank top. Here’s the report from Marcus Thompson of the Mercury News:
The Warriors and Adidas, the official provider of NBA uniforms since 2006, worked together for more than a year to bring this concept to life. Several players tested them during their off-season and the Warriors have gone through full practices in them.

“I think it will be a trendsetter,” rookie forward Harrison Barnes said. “I think its something it will take people a little bit of time to get used to, but once they do it’ll be good. As long as I’m able to shoot and move, that’s all that matters.”

The Warriors will be debuting the uniforms on Feb. 22 when they are scheduled to face the San Antonio Spurs, which will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN.  The uniforms will be used again on March 8 and March 15 versus the Houston Rockets and Chicago Bulls, respectively.
