Florida Panthers minority owner and advertising mogul Jordan Zimmerman has filed a lawsuit against two fellow Florida businessmen to recoup a $1 million investment into a pornography website that he thought was a legitimate dating service, the Sun-Sentinel reports.

Zimmerman and co-plaintiff Al Malnik told authorities that they gave Marc Bell and Dan Staton $1 million apiece to invest into Friendfinder.com, a popular dating service website.

In the suit filed in Palm Beach County court, documents state that Bell and Staton invested the money into sites they never heard of that were linked to Penthouse Magazine’s porn empire, which features several X-rated websites.

“It was bait and switch,” said David Goldstein, Zimmerman’s lawyer. “They were investing in FriendFinder, and they ended up unknowingly investing somewhere else. They just want their money back.”
