Mo Williams had some options this off-season when it came to choosing his next landing spot.

Williams is not an elite top 10 point guard, but he is extremely serviceable, versatile and a deadly shooter when his stroke is on.

Williams examined his options and made a choice. He picke the Portland Trail Blazers over several other options. Why Portland, you ask?

During his introductory press conference, Williams simply stated that “he wanted to win,” and wasn’t worried about starting.
Last season, Williams averaged 12.9 points and 6.2 assists a game last season, plus he shot 38-percent from three. He recently expressed interest in joining the Miami Heat before signing with the Blazers.
