Carmelo Anthony seems to be a realist, so one can assume that he understand’s that he only has so much time left in his career to win a championship.

While working at a camp Saturday, the New York Knicks star small forward admitted that his window for winning a championship is quickly closing.

"My window is closing. I'm trying to bring a championship to New York ASAP," Anthony told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Anthony headed into last season with high expectations with the Knicks. He ended up winning the scoring title by averaging nearly 29 points a game, along with about seven rebounds on 45-percent shooting. However, the Knicks fell to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

Anthony now believes he’s in the best shape of his life, and is heading into what will probably be the biggest season of his life this October.
