The New York Giants had the best defensive line in football for a couple of seasons while they were winning two Super Bowls.
The Giants as a defensive line now, have slid back to the back over the past three seasons. However, members of the current D-Line think the resurgence has begun.
Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers is healthy again for the first time in a few years, and told the Star-Ledger that the Giants can have the best defensive line in football if everything comes together.
“I believe they’ve already been documented as one of the best in the business,” Rogers said. “We’re just trying to add complementary players to what’s going on. But if guys live up to their potential, we could be the best in the NFL.”
Rogers was a dominant defensive tackle back when he was in Cleveland with the Browns. But now at 34, he's past his prime.
