I can admit I don’t know much about Edmonton Oilers center Sam Gagner, but he’s one tough son of a bitch.

Gagner is out indefinitely after he suffered a broken jaw Saturday night from a high stick from Vancouver Canucks forward Zack Kassian. The incident occurred at 18:33 of the second period of the Oilers’ 5-2 win.

Gagner took to Twitter to thank the fans for all their support and to show off his mangled grilled. "Excited to come back stronger and hopefully better looking," he wrote.

Gagner, 24, scored 14 goals and 24 assists in the lockout-shortened 48-game regular-season last year.
