ESPN’s Marc Stein is reporting that Hayward is expected to get a new four-year, $49 million deal done before the Oct. 31 deadline.
Hayward averaged 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3 assists in 29.2 minutes per game, splitting time as a starter and reserve for the Jazz last season. The multi-talented swingman from Butler is only 23 years old.
