Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook will miss the first four-to-six weeks of the 2013-14 NBA season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti says the surgically repaired knee is fine, but Westbrook’s knee swelled up after a stitch came loose.

We'll see how this affects the Thunder for the start of the regular season, as Kevin Durant and company struggled in the playoffs without him. Expect major production out of Durant then for the first few games then, fantasy basketball owners.
