Arian-Foster-November-2013
This could end up being terrible news for Houston Texans fans and many fantasy football owners alike.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Texans running back Arian Foster could require surgery that would leave him out for the rest of the 2013 NFL season. Foster, according to Rapoport, is receiving several opinions on this issue and hopes to play this season.

Foster is already ruled inactive for Sunday's Week 10 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He has been dealing with calf injuries and hamstring injuries this season, which dates back to before the season even started.

Foster, however, has still managed to fight through it. He has 542 rushing yards and eight touchdowns so far on the season. However, it's still been a struggle for the star running back.

We'll see if Foster decides to go with surgery and sit out the rest of the season. It may very well be worth it. With Houston's chances of making the NFL Playoffs now completely dead, there really isn't any point in playing for Foster unless if he's worried about padding his stats.
