Leslie Frazier Rumors: Vikings GM Says Coach Will Stay, Not Be Fired

Should Leslie Frazier now be worried after getting the dreaded vote of confidence? Despite rumblings about Frazier’s job security amid the Minnesota Vikings' 1-6 start, the team's general manager, Rick Spielman, told the Star-Tribune that Frazier isn’t going anywhere.

“Leslie Frazier is not going anywhere,” Spielman said. “I am telling you that we are very committed to Leslie Frazier and this coaching staff.

“We back Coach Frazier 100 percent and we’ll do everything we can to help him get this thing turned around."

I can applaud Spielman if he’s accurately assessing the situation. Leslie Frazier can’t truly be graded or evaluated until he has a capable quarterback to play along side the amazing Adrian Peterson.
