The Oregonian is reporting that Mariota played and balled out against Stanford with an already partially sprained MCL. Mariota wore a brace during Thursday night's loss, and spent most of the night not looking like his normal self.
The Heisman front runner was sacked, fumbled and had to be helped off the field with what appeared to be an injury to that left knee in the third quarter.
