Screen Shot 2014-01-18 at 1.17.14 AMKevin Durant has been dropping a ton of buckets lately since the absence of sidekick Russell Westbrook. With that, KD has doubled his scoring duties and is making a legit case for being the MVP of this NBA season.

Durant put up a career-high of 54 points against the Golden State Warriors, helping the Thunder edge out to a 127-121 victory.

Durant was 19-28 from the field, including 5-9 from the 3-point line and 11-13 on free throws. Along with that, KD had six assists and four rebounds.

The Thunder are now 30-10 on the season, which is third in the Western Conference.
