Screen Shot 2014-01-10 at 10.36.09 PMFlorida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin will be going pro as he has declared for the 2014 NFL Draft, according to ESPN's Joe Schad.

Benjamin is most known for what he did in the 2014 BCS National Championship against the Auburn Tigers, catching the game-winning touchdown pass from Jameis Winston.

Benjamin was a redshirt sophomore, but became a late-bloomer and a star for the Seminoles this college football season. He finished the year off with 54 catches for 1,011 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Benjamin will gauge tons of interest from NFL teams, as many could use him as a red zone threat thanks to his great size at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds. Many think, based off his skill set and size, that he could become the next Calvin Johnson.

The only problem for Benjamin will be for him to develop more consistency on his route running and catching routine passes.

Right now, Benjamin will be a late first-rounder in the draft, according to many draft experts. With the scouting combine coming up in a few months, he should be able to show off his talents and improve his stock soon.
